The auditor will spend up to 3 hours on-site focusing on the priorities of the homeowner. He may:

• Measure insulation thickness and grade installation quality (when accessible) to determine actual R-value.

• Measure building shell air leakage with a blower door & identify areas for targeted improvement.

• Check for air leaks, insulation voids, and moisture issues with infrared imaging (when outdoor temperature permits).

• Measure duct leakage & diagnose major problems.

• Assess efficiency of the HVAC equipment & water heater.

• Investigate base load (not heating & cooling) energy consumption.

• Check for adequate ventilation according to ASHRAE 62.2-2016 standard.

• Assess windows for upgrade potential.

• Discuss findings and any homeowner concerns.

Within 2 weeks, the auditor will deliver a report with recommendations in an actionable, prioritized list.
